Pattern - Happy Cat Potholder
Finished Size: 7.5" x 9"
This potholder was inspired by Kathie's 15-pound black and white shorthair, "Norman". He's a peach of a cat, a good friend and he adores her. He's always in her office, taking care of the extra chair and feeling responsible for testing all quilts and fabrics for softness and loft. If he can fall asleep on it, it passes inspection. Of course, he's promptly removed back to the extra chair, but his excuse is he's just trying to do his part as "Chief Quilt Tester of Cat-Nap Quality". Norman was very pleased when he saw "his potholder" and approved it immediately by promptly crouching on it. Again, he had to be removed. He makes a poor potholder, himself, so he's glad to have Kathie make cloth ones to take care of the hot pots and handles in the kitchen. This potholder pattern is "sew" easy to make, you'll stitch one up in one rainy afternoon.
